The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requires a comprehensive immigration physical exam to ensure there are no physical or mental health issues that could impact your application. Our physicians are experienced in following USCIS’s strict guidelines and procedures, so you can be confident that your forms and report will be completed accurately.
What to Expect During Your Immigration Physical Exam
Your doctor will conduct a thorough assessment, including a chest X-ray and blood tests, to evaluate your physical and mental health. Along with your Form I-693, please bring your medical and vaccination records. If you don’t have proof of vaccinations, a blood test can be done to confirm immunization.
The immigration physical exam may also include several lab tests and vaccinations, such as:

If you’re applying for U.S. citizenship or a green card, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services requires you to get a full physical exam, to make sure you don’t have any physical issues or mental disorders that may prevent you from being approved. When you receive your physical from an ApproXie Urgent Care physician, you can rest assured they will follow the government’s strict guidelines and procedures and that all your forms and report will be done correctly.
Typically, no. Our clinics have extended morning, evening, and weekend hours, so no appointment is necessary. However, some locations may require you to call ahead for an immigration physical exam, so check with your local AFC center.

I visited ApproXie after being sick for several days and not feeling better. I love this place – the doctor that cared for me was wonderful and one of the most attentive and thorough practitioners I have ever seen.
